1. Membership Registration

By registering, you confirm that all information provided (name, date of birth, contact details, and any guardian information for members under 18) is accurate. Kenya Scouts Association ("KSA") reserves the right to verify, query, or reject any registration found to contain false or misleading information.

2. Membership Fees

Registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once payment has been confirmed, except where a registration is rejected by KSA review before a card or certificate has been issued, in which case a refund may be requested through your County or National office.

3. Data & Privacy

Personal information collected during registration (including photographs) is used solely for membership administration, verification, and official KSA communication. Your full personal record is only ever visible to you and to KSA officials within their assigned administrative scope (Sub-County, County, or National, as applicable). Anyone scanning your membership card's QR code publicly will see only your first name and an active-membership status — never your ID number, phone number, or other personal details.

4. Guardian Consent (Under 18)

For members under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian's name and phone number are required at registration, and that guardian is considered to have consented to the member's participation in KSA activities on the family's behalf.

5. Card Validity & Renewal

Membership cards are valid for one year from the date of successful payment and must be renewed annually to remain active. A lapsed membership may be reinstated by renewing, or by registering afresh if the account has been removed for prolonged inactivity per KSA's dormancy policy.

6. Code of Conduct

All members are expected to uphold the Scout Promise and Law, and to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with KSA's values at all times during official activities and events.
